To enable everyone to have access to BlueCross HomeCare services, we have developed our Private Services program. This program is suited for those who require assistance to remain living independently in their own home but are not eligible for or waiting to receive government funded services, or wish to fund services privately.

Private services can also be accessed by people living in residential aged care or retirement villages as an add on to any services or support they currently receive.

What services are provided?

Clients in our Private Services program have access to the full suite of HomeCare services, including:

  • Domestic assistance

  • Personal care

  • Social support & companionship

  • Transport services

  • Nursing care

  • Sleepovers
  • 24 hour care

How do I access private services?

To commence your Private Services program, contact our Private Services Manager to arrange an obligation free assessment visit. One of our experienced and qualified team will come to your home to complete an assessment to understand your requirements. A plan is then tailored according to your individual needs and budget. This initial visit is a good opportunity for you to ask us questions about our range of services and how we can best support you to maintain the lifestyle you want. Services can commence with little waiting time once the assessment has been completed. 

The Private Services Manager will oversee the implementation of your in-home support and is available to discuss and review your needs at any time. We encourage your feedback. This enables us to continue to provide you with the right support.
