Blue Cross Western Gardens in Sunshine is a welcoming home providing 90 places for people with high and low care needs. We offer residents ‘Ageing in Place’, the unique opportunity to live in one place although care needs may increase.

With excellent presentation and service this spacious, bright and modern facility is fitted throughout with quality décor, furniture and fittings. All of our single rooms come equipped with ensuite, telephone and television connections, hydronic heating and ceiling fans.

Leisure and lifestyle programs focus on making your stay with us a sociable, relaxing and pleasant experience. Activities include exercise programs, quizzes, garden club, BBQ’s, outings to places of interest and entertainment.

Read a book from the library around the cosy gas lit fireplaces or relax in one of our tranquil, landscaped courtyards. Take a walk in our rose garden or spend time bird watching.

Our onsite chef prepares fresh, delicious and nutritious meals. At Western Gardens, we believe food should continue to be an enjoyable experience.

Additional services available onsite are hair- dressing, podiatry and physiotherapy.

We also offer responsive and planned respite options for short-term stays to support families who need a break. Respite availble in low level care only.
