Veterans' Home Care (VHC)

BlueCross Care at Home delivers Veterans' Home Care, a Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) program designed to assist Veterans and War Widows/Widowers who wish to continue living at home safely and independently. Our aim is to support you in maintaining optimal health, wellbeing and independence whilst our domestic assistance program includings home care, personal care and respite care.

Eligibility for admission to the BlueCross Veterans' home care program is determined by the Commonwealth Department of Veterans' Affairs and requires that you be a Gold Card Holders (or White Card holder under certain circumstances). You may need to be referred by your doctor or local hospital or approved veterans assessment service.
