Blue Cross Tarralla residence in Croydon is a welcoming place providing accommodation for residents with low care needs. We are able to offers residents ‘Ageing in Place’, the unique opportunity to live in one place although care needs may increase. Independent Living Units are also available.

This modern air-conditioned residence has accommodation for 78 residents in single rooms, as well as a small number of double rooms for couples. All rooms are tastefully decorated, complete with television and telephone connections, hydronic heating and ceiling fans.

At Tarralla, every one of our team strives, with stakeholders and family members, to devise 'best practice' initiatives and leisure and lifestyle programs that develop and maintain the social, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness of our residents. These programs include intergenerational classes, wellness programs and social events that encourage meaningful connections with the local community. Residents can also access hairdressing podiatry and physiotherapy services on site. A bus stop and train station are less than a 10-minute walk away.

Our onsite catering staff prepare a menu of delicious, nutritious meals using fresh produce every day. All meals can be designed to meet any dietary or cultural preference - but most of all, we like to prepare meals people will enjoy. Morning and afternoon tea is served, as well as pre-luncheon and pre-dinner drinks, where residents and guests are offered comlimentary wine, ale or soft drinks.

We offer responsive and planned respite options of short-term stays to support families who need a break.
