BlueCross Riverlea in Avondale Heights is a welcoming home providing 75 places for people with low care needs. We offer residents ‘Ageing in Place’, the unique opportunity to live in one place although care needs may increase.
This modern and spacious residence offers tastefully decorated rooms with ensuite, complete with television and telephone connections, hydronic heating and ceiling fans. Landscaped courtyards and gardens enable you to relax or spend time with family and friends.
Riverlea's 10th Birthday Celebrations
For the past decade Marie Rodda and Lucy have been good mates at BlueCross Riverlea. They have shared many good times together and on 24 April they cut the 10year celebration birthday cake. Or at least Marie did as Lucy is a dog!
Leisure & Lifestyle Riverlea has a range of leisure and lifestyle programs designed to encourage participation and engagement of all our residents. Every one of our team strives, with residents and family members, to devise 'best practice' initiatives and programs that develop and maintain the social, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness of our residents.
Residents can also access hairdressing, podiatry and physiotherapy services on site as well as a shop run by residents.
Our menu We have a chef who prepares a menu of delicious, nutritious meals using fresh produce every day. All meals can be designed to meet any dietary or cultural preference.
Morning and afternoon tea is also served to residents in the dining room.
