Silverwood is located adjacent to the beautiful Westerfolds Parkland and Yarra, next door to The Greenery Nursery and minutes from the green gateway of Eltham or the busy hub of Doncaster. A modern, air-conditioned, multi-level building, Silverwood has large, tastefully decorated private rooms, each with its own ensuite. All rooms are complete with television and telephone connections, heating and ceiling fans.
The pleasant contained courtyard hosts BBQ’s in summer and provides opportunity for family gatherings and enjoying time outside in a safe environment. Multiple small lounges provide the opportunity for private space when needed, along with kitchenettes on upper levels for tea and coffee making options.
We offer a comfortable and friendly environment that fosters independence, dignity and respect. Shared areas are places where people can enjoy socialising in well appointed surroundings. Outside there are beautiful shaded areas for relaxing or having a cup of tea with your family and friends.
Leisure & Lifestyle Weekly bus trips to local shopping precincts and places of interest along with monthly night time outings to dine locally ensure there is ample opportunity to get out and about. Silverwood offers a range of leisure and lifestyle programs designed to encourage participation and engagement of all our residents. Every one of our team strives to devise ‘best practice’ initiatives and programs that develop and maintain the social, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness of our residents.

Our menu We have a chef who prepares a menu of delicious, nutritious meals using fresh produce every day. Unlike other Residences breakfast is served in Residents suites, allowing the luxury of no morning rush.
These meals are served in our luxurious dining room, and are designed to meet any dietary or cultural preference - but most of all, we like to prepare meals that people will enjoy.
Silverwood also provides responsive and planned respite options of short-term stays to support families who need a break.
